Examining The history of treaty making between the 1100 sovereign indigenous nations of Turtle Island North provides a workable template for the more global review of the formation of nation-to nation / nations-to-corporate contracts. The principal issue of examination is derived from the imposition of the prevailing law that will be implemented as the jurisdiction through which a treaty may be constricted and enforced - and, the limitations therein. And, due to the length of the legacies of the "Consecutively Settled Sovereign Peoples" (CSSP) of the Two Turtle Islands (North-Central-South Americas) it is reasonable to compare the logic development in structuring the ethos principles that are integrated into treaties that are honoured and long lasting. The Haudenosaunee & Empire of the Netherlands (1613-present) represents the world's oldest, standing nation-to-nation treaty (recognized by the UN). And, it noteworthy that Haudenosaunee delegates were an integral factor in the development of the founding charters of the United States of America and Canada. The right to tax shall be the basis of establishing the prevailing right of governance.
